These galvanized steel brackets were just the thing I needed to secure my new Gazebo to the concrete slab. I live in hurricane country and when it comes to securing structures to the ground, theres no such thing as over doing it.
They’re made from thick and solid galvanized steel, but once I started setting them up I found that they don’t have 90 degree angles, which makes it hard to find plumb when attaching posts to them. I will have to heat them up and bend them to the 90 degrees that I need or buy some shims- neither of which I want to do. Plus, if I start heating them it’s liable to mess up the galvanized coating.
To be clear, I’m talking about the angle from the bottom plane to the vertical plane.
If it were not for that these would be awesome.
